To be clever and show everyone just how deep the river of my thoughts run.
To write something so extraordinary, that people far and wide would pause, and think and grow.
And wonder at this unknown person with such wisdom and understanding.
I decided to start with the WORD.
For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery. -Galatians 5:1 (ESV)
I read the literal translation in original Greek so that I could delve deep under the layers of language and discover things no one else had thought of. Tirelessly, searching out correlating scriptures to further enhance the message I was trying to get across.
Then I stopped.
Because I read it again and again and again.
And I realized that there is nothing more beautiful and amazing. No words ever written or to be written that could exceed the wonder I feel when I read that living and active WORD. Written by ordinary men, directed by an extraordinary God.
That it was for FREEDOM that Yehoshua ha Mesheach, Jesus the Messiah, set me FREE! Oh, how great a freedom it is! Free from the sin that would chain me. Free from my own deceitful heart. Free to walk, filled with the LIFE of the Spirit. Never again to submit to a yoke of slavery.
What could I say today, that would be better and more beautiful than that?
